The hiking opportunities are many - for all experience levels. Summit peaks that will leave you speechless from beautiful vantage points.
Pass by old fjord farms, while packs of goats wander here and there by the trails, and wild blueberries grow.
There are tours for everyone here.

Sunnmøre is renowned for climbing and there are several great climbing spots nearby with varying degrees of difficulty.
A short ferry and road trip away, in Valldal, there is a climbing park with seven trails.
It contains more than 1500 meters of tree and post climbing courses with four different difficulty levels, suitable for all ages.

Kilsti is surrounded by beautiful peaks, with lovely descents and thick, powder snow for miles around.

If you are looking for some white-water action, try rafting in Valldal.
The river, Valldøla, is suitable for everyone, from beginner to experienced.

You can also experience the Unesco heritage fjord, Tafjorden, by Kayak, starting in Valldal, with guided tours and courses also available.

For some extra excitement, try canyoning, a challenging but thrilling act of navigation through the gorge just below Gudbrandsjuvet.

But, you don´t have to be physically active to enjoy the great scenery.
Just a short road trip from Kilsti, you´ll find the Unesco heritage sites Tafjord and Geirangerfjord.
Tens of thousands stop at the vantage points from the roads to gaze at these hulking, dramatic Norwegian fjords.
Trollstigen, the famous serpentine mountain road, is also a short drive away.

UNESCO World Heritage Area

Kilsti is located in the UNESCO World Heritage area of the West Norwegian Fjords.
